Did you know, …

that new wool practically cleans itself? You read that right! But every now and then the play furniture needs to be cleaned.

All you need:
A clean cloth and lukewarm water

But first the good news
Virgin wool is easy to clean because it has natural properties that distinguish it from other materials:

Self-cleaning ability
Virgin wool contains natural fibers that form a water-repellent outer layer. This means that stains and dirt particles are less absorbed into the fibers. Smaller dirt can often simply be brushed off.

Dirt-repellent
Due to the natural structure of new wool, dirt is not absorbed so easily. The surface of the wool fibers is covered with tiny scales that can repel dirt particles and prevent stains from penetrating.

Odor neutralization
Virgin wool has the ability to absorb and neutralize odors.

Tips & Tricks

Dust and loose dirt particles
can be brushed off with a soft brush

Stain removal
If there are stains on new wool, it is important to act quickly. Gently blot the stain with a clean, damp cloth without rubbing vigorously. It is best to use lukewarm water or a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Test the detergent on an inconspicuous area beforehand to make sure it does not damage the new wool.

Professional cleaning
If this is not sufficient, the covers can be removed if they are more dirty and sent for cleaning. Professional cleaning processes can be gentle and tailored specifically to virgin wool.

Have fun playing!
